Vintage item manufactured in Canada between 1950 and 1955. Has 3 inter-changeable brushes under the shroud. Brushes have pins that snap into the drive mechanisms that are part of the motor base. Unit has been tested and the switch and motor are both working. Bought this item used several years ago for a flooring project. Used a couple of times and has been unused in garage storage since then. Please note that the power cord is dry-rotted and will need to be replaced for every day use. It still powers up, but should not be used as is because of the cord. This could be re-wired / rebuilt and would be working fine. Includes Base unit with complete handle and shaft assembly that comes apart. Power switch is part of the upper shaft. Measures 43 inches from floor to center line of handles when standing upright. (2) black brushes with 3/8 inch long bristles. (2) red brushes with 5/8 long bristles. (1) polish brush with 1/2 long bristles. (3) shampoo brushes with 1.25 long bristles. (3) soft buffing pads with all 3 plastic clips that snap into the center of the shorter brushes.
