Pads attach to the driver by the looped “velcro style” harpoons that are directly attached to the driver. Be careful to not ground pads down over time as the harpoons can ground down and ruin your floor if the used pads become too thin or with sand screens or thin stripping pads where no spacer pads are used. Each driver comes with a 1.5″ riser and, built-in shower feed holes, a 5″ center hole, and a universal clutch plate. When using this pad holder, it fits directly onto the bottom of the machine, and it allows you attach floor stripping, buffing, or scrubbing pads directly to it.
